Founded in Manitoba in 2019 by Dr. Sadeesh Srinathan, iSBERGDATA began with a need to better monitor outcomes after surgery. That clinical question brought research and software development together.
Today, our work spans electronic medical records, personal health tools, healthcare billing, interoperability, custom software, applied AI and consulting. We continue to start with the clinical need, the workflow and the people affected.
Our mission is to help healthcare professionals, patients and organizations use information more effectively to support safer, more efficient and more equitable care.
Dr. Sadeesh Srinathan
Founder · MD, MSc, FRCS(C), FRCS(C-Th)
Dr. Srinathan is a Professor of Surgery at the University of Manitoba, where he serves as Section Head and Provincial Specialty Lead for Thoracic Surgery. He is also a practising thoracic surgeon and clinical researcher with a background in clinical epidemiology and evidence-based medicine.
His work has included clinical research, professional standards, medical education and the development of healthcare technology. He founded iSBERGDATA to address practical challenges in healthcare information and decision-making.
This combination of clinical practice, research and technology experience informs the company’s work and his healthcare consulting.
